To remove any existing labels from your wine bottle, soak the bottle in a tub, bucket, or sink in room temperature water with a 1/4 cup of baking soda. Stir the baking soda to dissolve it in the water, and allow the bottle to remain in the water for 20 minutes and up to an hour. If the label is still hard to remove after this time, you might need to let it soak overnight. Once you've peeled the label away, you can use a razor blade to remove any adhesive that persists on the bottle's surface, then simply finish by washing the bottle with dish soap and a sponge. Dry your bottle well to prepare it for the application of your "Pairs Well With Relatives" Wine Bottle Label.

Before applying your new label, make sure that the bottle and your hands are dry. Remove the backing of the label carefully, trying to touch only the corners of the sticker as you remove it from the surface. Once you've removed the sticker, find the place on the bottle that you'd like to apply your new wine label. Once you know where you'd like to place it, place the center part of the sticker down on the bottle, and then check for straightness. If everything looks good, and you're sure that you've centered the sticker well, then press the label down by slowly running your finger from the center of the label to the outer edge, one side at a time, to prevent air bubbles from forming beneath the label.
